Well, went to AGP today and bought Elizabeth's Holiday Gown as I was worried it will be sold out by Xmastime... well.. went home with the gown and the new catalog.. And the gown's sleeves are WAYYYYYYY to tight! So tight, that I could not get the gown off from Elizabeth!!! Mom tried, Dad too.. but the gown was stuck on the doll! Called CS, told them my problem, and they are sending another gown. The one I have now, I have to cut off the sleeves in order to free poor Elizabeth! Also, one of the shoes did not fit Elizabeth at all! it looks like I got two left shoes! *shakes head*

I planned on getting that outfit. It's one of the prettiest they made so far. Lately I've been kinda stuck on just AG-made stuff for my dolls. I don't like being in the AG-Only rut, embarrassing especially since I can sew. But hearing about the troubles with this outfit PLUS seeing erick0808's splendid blue dress for her Elizabeth is making me think more and more of getting some non-AG outfits for my dolls.

Julia, I was thinking the same thing, on non AG clothes! I did tell CS on the quality that AG has in passed yrs and today's quality, she did note it down.

I can't believe you had to cut the sleeves to get if off of her! That's crazy! Was poor Elizabeth traumatized?

Well I have ordered this dress and it should be here on tuesday. I'm going to throw a fit if it has the same problem! I mean COME ON one or two dresses, sure they can slip through quality control... but for 99% of the dresses to have a problem, something needs to be done.

We had the same problem, AND the dress is so frgile, the velco snagged it in the back as I put it on...I think younger children will have a problem with this dress. It is ahame too because it is really beautiful. I hope our new one will be OK.

Good grief, it seems like practically everyone who's ordered some of the new stuff has had problems with it. I wonder why all this new stuff is made so...well, WRONG?? Did they open a new factory that apparently has no AG dolls around to fit the dresses to?

Today I tried the gown on Elizabeth and was excited that the first sleeve went on perfectly, but the second sleeve would not even go over all the fingers.

I also noticed how the shoes looked different when on their feet. Very strange. They are sending out a new dress. Hope it is better, but not holding breath.
